Abstract: The development of digital media has changed the patterns of communication in society while also increasing the risk of hoax dissemination and the formation of public opinion that is not based on facts. Vocational high school students, as active users of digital media, need media literacy skills to be able to filter information critically and responsibly. This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to enhance students' media literacy capacity in understanding mass communication, analysing media opinions, and responding to information critically. The activity was conducted at SMK Citra Negara, involving 50 students through interactive counselling methods, discussions, and case study analysis. Evaluation was conducted formatively through diagnostic questions at the beginning of the activity and oral reflections based on case studies at the end of the activity to identify changes in participants' understanding. The results of the activity show that participants are better able to distinguish between facts and opinions, understand the influence of media in shaping public opinion, and recognise the importance of verifying information before disseminating it. In addition, the high participation of participants during the discussion indicates that the educational-participatory approach is effective in encouraging critical thinking skills towards information in digital media. This activity is expected to serve as a model for school-based media literacy education in shaping a generation of young people who are smart, critical, and responsible in media use.
