Author Guidelines

  1. Manuscripts prepared for JoMMiT include research results in the field of Multimedia and Information Technology, writing in Indonesian.
  2. JoMMiT stipulates that manuscripts will not be accepted via email, but must be submitted via the web system after registration, for those who have not registered.
  3. Manuscripts are expected to be submitted in *.doc or *.docx file format with a maximum length limit of 15 pages. Manuscript writing must follow the JoMMiT template, which can be downloaded via the link provided.
  4. The structure of the manuscript is suggested to consist of Introduction, Literature Review (optional and can be combined in the Introduction), Methodology, Results and Discussion, and Conclusion.
  5. Obvious theorems can be cited without writing, while unclear proofs or theories can be added after the Introduction for further explanation.
  6. It is also important to include citations and a bibliography of more than 10 articles, with an emphasis on works from the last 5 years and from reputable journals. At least 80% of the bibliography should be from journals.
  7. Submissions must include a publication ethics statement, which can be read in detail via the link provided.
  8. This statement must be read, adhered to, and signed before the manuscript is submitted.
  9. All manuscripts in JoMMiT will undergo a review process with an online Double Blind Peer Review system through a web system, which allows authors to monitor the progress of the manuscript.
  10. The completion time of the review process until it is accepted by the editor varies for each manuscript, and the editor cannot guarantee the publication time after the manuscript is submitted.
  11. The author of the manuscript is fully responsible for permission to quote or use computer software and matters related to Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), along with the legal consequences that may arise from such actions.
